Estimated Prices / Packages
Front-design only Websites:
Price: £150 - £299 for simple websites, but this can increase depending on complexity. It is always better to get in touch for a quote. This website is an example of a website in the £150 - £300 range. This website is not actually full-stack, and the contact forms do not use an expensive database, and the website is hosted completely free. I pay nothing for this website, and it serves every functionality I need as a web developer. Consider, what do you actually need as a business/service provider?
Included: Upto 5 pages, simple data collection (contact form), 2 revisions for updates and changes, and bring-your-own brand, style, or artwork.
Complexity features: I can find simple ways to implement additional services without a full-stack system.
Because these types of websites are very simple, they can be built very quickly. The complexity of design is your choice, whether that is complex or modern minimalist. I charge for my time and labour.
Full-Stack Websites:
Price: from £499 as a most basic full-stack website package. See below the low level tier.
Included: Upto 5 pages, better data collection for user info and orders, a very simple online shop or ordering service, simple user accounts, simple confirmation emails, domain name configurations and lastly email/domain email configurations. This is the basic full-stack package I will offer you.
There are alternative and cheap methods for having an online store, like re-directing clicks to ebay etc which is far easier to do. Just drop us a message if you want to.
If there is anything mentioned here that you may not understand, it is better to get in touch if you have the time.
Developing full-stack websites with more complex functionality means we move out of the £499 starter package and I charge for my time and labour. If it takes 3 days to build a feature, I will charge for the 3 days. I estimate how long features will take to build and suggest a fixed fee. Although it may seem easy, there are always difficult problems ahead, and you are paying for someone who handles and solves those problems to suit your business needs. If all you need is the £499 full-stack package, I can scaffold that very quickly for your business. Need more than that? I estimate the labour needed and adjust prices based on how much time I am spending.
Mechanic Shop:
Price: £15 per hour, or if a problem requires a day's work I'll charge a day's work which will be cheaper. Why do this? you might ask me for small tasks frequently, where as I would recommend you get a big bulk of tasks prepared for me so I can plan my schedule better. Please and thankyou - return love_heart.Kisses(heart, x).toString().strip();
What is the mechanic shop? Well... it is a loose form of website services.
People are using AI to build lots of nice lovely things online, some are doing it free and some are paying for token usage. But I think people only get so far before they misunderstand programming and deployment or hosting operations. So I just take what you have built already and finish things off, get things hosted, and so on.
Upon request I can consider improvements to style, functionality, security, and performance. These are optional. You may be very happy with what you have and only want proper hosting with proper web addresses, and that is all you want. So therefore, the Mechanic Shop serves as the bridge between AI prompters and skilled developers, preserving what you have and taking your software that extra step towards completion.
Mobile Apps:
Price: To be considered upon request. These types of applications, although powerful, are complicated, but they can be made to suit your business needs. Be ready for a harsher price.
I use React Native for mobile applications to develop for both Android and Apple devices, but it requires more configuration in code and meeting the standards of two different mobile app stores, which are harder bridges to cross. The apps I make are better suited to be published on my own developer accounts, where I already have access to publish apps. They will also be maintained as and when appropriate.
If you are wondering about what maintenance means for websites and mobile apps, a lot of it is making sure they are compatible with newer devices and updating packages. They change and improve all the time, which can cause problems because of deprecated coding practices. All of this is developer-side work, but I like to mention it for the sake of transparency and trust.
